Position
- This role is responsible for new business development in Texas to Louisiana to Mississippi
- This person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at multinational firms
- This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in a variety of industrial markets
- Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
- Manages and owns the overall account relationship to customers and is the “face” of the firm to the customer
- Position is home-office based with very limited overnight travel required
Qualifications
- Four or more years of B2B liquid chemical sales experience is required
- Specialty chemical sales experience is highly preferred
- A four-year bachelor's degree is preferred (chemical engineering or chemistry degrees are highly preferred)
- Company greatly values intellectual curiosity
- Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
